Job description
We are looking for a PHP Developer with a focus on:
– Development of all server-side logic, definition and maintenance of databases, and ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from front-ends.
– Development of front-end elements and also integration of elements built by your co-workers into applications
Therefore, a thorough understanding of back-end and front-end technologies is necessary.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
– Plan, design, develop, debug, implement and support REST APIs & web-based GUIs for applications and services
– Modify existing software to: correct errors, allow it to function in new operating environments, or improve performance
– Adheres to and recommends improvements to project coding standards
– Work in a team environment with shared code, disciplined use of source code control and process documentation
– Improve software quality by conducting systems analysis, and recommending changes in policies and procedures
SKILLS:
– Strong PHP framework skills, preferably CodeIgniter
– Strong PHP coding skills with an emphasis on Object Orientated Programming
– Strong MYSQL skills
– Experience with version control solutions
– Experience with major Javascript libraries such as JQuery
– Experience with HTML5 & CSS3
– Experience with REST
– Strong work ethic and ability to self-manage.
– Strong analytical and problem solving skills
– Ability to participate in multiple projects simultaneously
– Ability to communicate effectively with team members
